Beer Filtration
The most common applications:
- food and beverage industry (filtration of wine, beer, liqueurs, apple cider, juice, lemonade)
- chemical industry
- pharmacy, veterinary medicine, biotechnology, medicine, chemical industrial filtration, and color filtration.
Principle of filtration:
Candle filtration is based on product filtration on elements (candles, cartridges) in different filtration stages, different constructions, which depend on the type of filtered product, the specification of the industry, and the requirements for the output quality of the purified product. Microfilters (candles) are an integral tool for a perfectly clean product (apple cider, wine, or beer) before bottling. With a suitably chosen candle (membrane), you will contribute to the stability of bottled beer, cider, must, or wine.
The cleaned product flows through a filter insert (candle), where unwanted impurities and microorganisms, etc. are removed. During this process, the pores of the candle gradually become clogged. If clogging occurs, ie the differential pressure rises to the specified value, it is inadmissible to continue filtering and it is important to replace the spark plug (if we use a disposable one) or regenerate it (if we use a spark plug that can be regenerated). The number of permissible sanitation cycles and their design is specified by the supplier of the filter element with regard to its service life while maintaining the given degree of filtration.
