Pneumatically operated butterfly valves, welded (S-S), standard DIN 11850-1

Pneumatic single-acting actuator (air/spring) is used for opening and closing direct valves with compressed air (recommended value for safe opening of the damper is 5 – 7 bar). The spring of the pneumatic actuator serves for the closing of the direct damper (without control air pressure) or in case of decreasing control air pressure for a safe closing of the valve (damper).

To control the pneumatic actuator, the actuator must be supplemented with a pilot (electromagnetic) valve for controlling the compressed air supply. The damper can also be equipped with inductive sensors to indicate the actual damper position (open/closed). This configuration allows you to operate the damper via a feedback control system in which position the damper is located.

The position of the flap is also indicated (visually) by a pin which is mounted on the control shaft.
