Stainless steel diaphragm valves
Description of the diaphragm valve:
Closing of the valve is ensured using a pin that presses on the diaphragm. The valves are soft sealing and allow a perfect closing even if the flow of media contains some solid pieces.
Technical characteristics of diaphragm valves:
- Standard: DIN
- Operational pressure: see. individual valves characteristics
- Type: welded, clamped connection
- Material: Stainless steel 1.4404 (AISI 316L), 1.4301 (AISI 304), see. individual valves characteristics
- Maximum operating temperature: according to the material of the diaphragm
- Sterilization temperature (max. 20 min): temperature is given by diaphragm material (150 °C VMQ, 110 °C EPDM)
- Material of diaphragm: EPDM, VMQ (silicone)
- Operation of valves: manual or via a pneumatic actuator (air pressure 5-8 bar)
Application areas of diaphragm valve:
Wineries, breweries, dairy industry, beverage industry, food production, is widely used in pharmacy etc.
Material certificate EN 10204 3.1 on request.
