Pneumatic actuator, all-stainless steel, single-acting (air-spring)
Pneumatic actuators are used to close or open butterfly valves, where compressed air (5-8 bar) and a spring are used for control, which is used to close the butterfly valve (without control air pressure), or in case of control air pressure drop for safe closing.
Basic information
The pneumatic actuator can be supplemented with a pilot (electromagnetic) valve for controlling the compressed air supply and inductive sensors for signaling the actual position of the butterfly valve heart. This configuration allows you to control the butterfly valve via a control system with back control of its opening / closing.
The position of the butterfly valve is also indicated by a pin which is mounted on the control shaft. The pin shows the position of the valve heart.
Pneumatic actuators are supplied with complete accessories for mounting on a butterfly valve or as a separate actuator for use with another type of 90 ° opening / closing valve.
