Stainless steel check valve G thread type - floating
These dampers are designed to be mounted on stainless steel pipes and are designed to prevent the backflow of liquid. In order to guarantee its functionality, it is necessary to ensure a constant flow of the medium without sudden fluctuations. They are not suitable for particulate media.
Basic information
- Material: stainless steel DIN 1.4408 (CF8M-standard ASTM A352)
- Connection: inner thread BSP-G ½,“¾“
- Maximal working pressure: 13 bar (200PSI)
- Maximal working temperature: –10 °C/160 °C
- Designed for: liquid, water, oil
- Without gasket
Montage
- The direction of mounting is determined by the arrow on the flap body, its direction is the same as the direction of the medium flow.
- The damper is installed in front of the pump to ensure the proper operation of both the pump and damper.
- The non-return valves are screwed into a suitable counterpart. It is recommended to preserve the fittings with Loctite 8105 grease during installation. When threading other system components with fittings, ensure that they are held with a spanner. This will prevent the fittings from being damaged by twisting.
- The pipe system must be flushed prior to installation to prevent damage to the valve by mechanical impurities.
- Before maintaining or removing the fitting, make sure that the temperature and pressure of the flowing medium have already fallen (medium temperature above 50 ° C and below 0 ° C can cause serious injuries). Dangerous fluids must be drained before maintenance.
- The valves do not require special maintenance.
